Living In Freedom and Empowerment

L.I.F.E. Mentors are women in the greater Portland community who have committed to invest in transforming the lives of survivors. They are directly involved in the restoration and empowerment of sex trafficking survivors.

L.I.F.E Mentors:

• Spend time with survivors, sharing resources and teaching life skills.
• Teach interviewing skills and job readiness.
• Help suvivors complete their educations and rediscover their dreams for the future.
• Work with survivors to provide appropriate clothing for their chosen careers.
• Help in the transition to independent living.
• Stand in for family members on holidays and birthdays, making sure each girl in the Portland Shelter program knows she is valued and loved.
